The Center for Physical Therapy Services, Inc. opened its doors in 2002, making us one of the pioneers in the home health therapy industry. We are a therapist owned and operated company that provides skilled therapy and skilled social work services to primarily homebound clients in the Los Angeles County area. Our mission has always been to provide an excellent level of service to our clients, their family members, and to our contracted agencies. We have seen the changes in the healthcare marketplace and we know that we must constantly re-invent ourselves to meet the needs of those we provide our services for. It is with this experience and our constant flexibility that we have been able to sustain our company's growth.

We are the only staffing company in the Los Angeles County that provides all of the therapy disciplines alongside skilled social workers. We provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Medical Social Workers to all our contracted home health and hospice agencies. What makes us unique in our industry is our constant and consistent adherence to the education of our staff members. Upon hiring our professional staff members, we provide a thorough orientation to the rules of home health, how Title 22 affects our care service, how the Conditions of Participation affect how we interact with the public, how HIPAA dictates confidentiality, how there is an interaction of the agency policies and procedures with the accrediting bodies' CMS adherence. We do not take it lightly that our staff members not understand both the administrative and their respective clinical competencies. Education and mentoring is what makes us different to our competition.

We have built a number of professional relationships with skilled home health agencies and with hospice agencies in the Los Angeles County area. These ties have led to our constant understanding of what our agencies' needs are and how we are to meet these needs. Furthermore, our owners attend many of the home health seminars given by vendors such as the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH), the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC), the Joint Commission, and more. We are not merely a stand alone staffing company, we understand the regulations and the mechanics of home health.

To make ourselves more competitive, we have also become completely electronic! From our Human Resource (HR) process whereby our staff fill and electronically sign all of their HR documents on-line to our agencies being able to enter a web based portal to retrieve their much needed HR documents to our staff logging onto a web based software program to fill out their clinical notes. We are 100% green and we are striving to maintain our high standards as we continue to be one of the best home health staffing agencies in the Los Angeles County.
